Bob Older owns and operates Creative Travel, Inc., a full service travel agency located in the Liberty Plaza/Possum Park Mall in Newark. He had been involved in the food industry for many years prior having a cooking show on local TV, a restaurant, catering company and gourmet shop.He is also the founder of the Delaware Small Business Chamber.
Bob is very passionate about local small business and doing everything possible to support them. His vision for the Chamber has helped a lot of local small business owners and he thanks the board and members for being an integral part of the growth of the organization. Bob has a daughter, Alex and collects cookbooks, eagles and Oriental figurines and items. Bob is an avid traveler and amateur photographer.
Cathy Turner is a Vice President, Small Business Relationship Manager with WSFS Bank. Her goal is to understand her customers business so she can recommend the best products and services to meet their needs. Cathy has a passion for helping businesses grow and takes a hands on approach with her clients. She has had the pleasure of serving the Delaware Community for over 12 years with the bank. In addition to her board position with the Chamber she volunteers with other local organizations including the Bank at School Program. Cathy is a graduate of the University of Delaware and currently resides in Newark with her husband Wayne and daughter Lilly. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, her dog Gabby, and going to the beach.
Megan Varley is the owner/operator of The Surface Restoration Company, formerly New Life Floors and Epoxy By Design. She was born, raised and still resides in North Wilmington. Megan started New Life Floors in 2012 when she needed her own floors refinished/refreshed, but was unable to find a decent, local sandless hardwood floor refinisher. Cooking, reading and hanging out with her grandson, Cole, are some of Megan’s favorite things to do.
Michael is the owner of Enviro-Master of Delaware. He lives in Dover with his wife of 34 years. He graduated from Holy Cross High School and and the University of Delaware. Michael is passionate about causes that support Animal Welfare, Children, the Environment, Health and Disaster and Humanitarian Relief.
Jane is a multi-disciplinary graphic designer and front-end web developer, specializing in strategic problem solving, branding and marketing. Freelancing since 2002, Jane works from her home-based studio in Newark, DE. Jane’s diverse portfolio and awards set her apart as one of the top designers in the greater Delaware Valley. She has over 14 years of web and graphic design experience, a degree in visual communications, and teaches web design at Cecil College.
Jane’s passions include: horror films, cooking, gaming, yoga, caffeine, bulldogs, DIY home projects, dubstep, mentoring and collaborating with other women, students, and design professionals.
Casey Fitzgerald thrives in the fast paced world of technology.She works for Mercantile Processing Inc. A Salisbury University graduate, Casey received her degree in Medical Technology and quickly discovered her love for helping people make the best technology decisions for their environment. Having grown up in lower Delaware, Casey enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and currently resides in Lewes with her husband and two Cairn Terriers, Knox and Luna and their son Teigen and newborn daughter, Thea.
Christine Menser is Vice President and Branch Manager for MidCoast Community Bank at the Concord Pike location. With more than 32 years of Banking experience, the last eight of which with MidCoast Community Bank, Christine’s focus is serving the financial needs of both business and personal depositors. She enjoys getting to know each and every customer, spending time with her family, going to the beach and crabbing.
Troy have been married for 15 years to his beautiful wife Ibeth. We have two boys who really are the brains of their family business Arlo who is 10 and Troy Jr who is 13. I have 20 plus years of military service and 20 plus with the federal service. The military allow me and my family serve during the Operations Iraq Freedom/Operations Enduring Freedom campaigns after the World Trade Center Bombing in New York City. We served 5 years during the campaign. I have a Master in Business Administration and truly wanted to utilize my degree for myself and my family.
In the preparation for retirement my family and I started a video game business. Mobile Cloud Video Game Party has allow us to bring our Friday Night family game night on the road to many Delawareans throughout the state.
Brooke Miles founded Delaware ShoutOut to help busy entrepreneurs take the time and stress out of their social media marketing. In 4+ years of business, Delaware ShoutOut has served nearly 200 clients, who have reported significant gains in followers, engagement, and traffic to their websites (without breaking a sweat). Brooke is a highly sought-out public speaker, having won multiple awards from Toastmasters International. She is also a member of the DSBC’s Marketing Committee.
A graduate of St. Mark’s, Dee also attended Widner University. For almost 20 years, Dee was a local small business owner before selling her company and staying on with Excel Business Systems. See is a proud mother and very spiritual. Life is too short to be on

Denise Allen is a REALTOR at Keller Williams Realty in Delaware as part of Team Allen with her husband Patrick. She serves both buyers and sellers, including first time home buyers, move-up buyers, new construction, short sales, bank-owned and relocation clients.
Jim Power is the Executive Director at Huntington Learning Center in Newark, DE. He is a graduate of Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. Jim has over 30 years in operations, management and leadership experiences in small, medium and large companies and non-profits. Jim is married and a proud father and grand-father.

Pamela Mayse was born in St. Johns Michigan but has lived for over 20 years in Elkton Maryland with her husband Greg of 33 years. She also has a son Justin (29), daughter-in-law Kristalyn, and granddaughter, apple of her eye, Paiten Olivia (almost 4). After finishing her degree in Fashion Merchandising and Modeling and being in retail management for 18 years she decided to start planning events locally for Associated Builders and Contractors in 1993 while starting up her Entrepreneurial business as well called “Weddings by Pamela”. She moved to the Three Little Bakers Country Club for 13 years as their only Wedding Coordinator for 2 banquet rooms and a dinner theatre, until 2007 when she became the NCCCC Director of Events and Sponsorship where she helped plan over 100 events a year prior to becoming the EVP of the DSBC early 2018. In her spare time, Pamela loves to go to concerts and musical’s in NYC, Candlelight Dinner Theatre, Cecil Covered Bridge Theatre and Delaware Theatre Company. She dabbles in photography and inspirational poetry (possibly writing a book one day).
