BOB OLDER – President/CEO

Bob Older owns and operates Creative Travel, Inc., a full service travel agency located in the Liberty Plaza/Possum PArk Mall in Newark. He had been involved in the food industry for many years prior having a cooking show on local TV, a restaurant, catering company and gourmet shop.He is also the founder of the Delaware Small Business Chamber.
Bob is very passionate about local small business and doing everything possible to support them. His vision for the Chamber has helped a lot of local small business owners and he thanks the board and members for being an integral part of the growth of the organization. Bob has a daughter and collects cookbooks, eagles and Oriental figurines and items.

Ed Kessler – Chairman

Ed Kessler is the Publisher of Perfect Wedding Guide of Delaware. He was born in Worcester Massachusetts and grew up in North Wilmington. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and attended the University of Delaware. Ed worked for Sears for 36 years before starting the Perfect Wedding Guide in Delaware in 2006. Ed is also very involved in the local community.Ed is Co-chair of the Grants & Scholarship Committee


Kenna is part of Mid-Atlantic Benefits Group, specializing in worksite benefits and Health Care Reform. Kenna works with businesses nationwide to help provide the business and their employees a financial safety net. In her spare time Kenna loves cooking, boating and spending time with her husband Brian and their two cats, Morgan and Stoney.Kenna is Co-Chair of the Grants & Scholarship Committee

NEIL STALTER – Secretary

Neil Stalter is a Financial Advisor at Diamond State Financial Group. He graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. His practice focuses on clients of all ages and backgrounds and he finds innovative solutions to fit their individual needs. Neil is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc.Born and raised in Baltimore, Neil and his wife, Melinda, have three sons – Lyle, Ryan and Jack – and reside in North Wilmington. Neil volunteers for the American Lung Association and participates in several 5k runs for charity. He is an active member of the Delaware Small Business Chamber and the Cape Business Network. In his spare time Neil enjoys exercising, golf, baseball and relaxing with family and friends. His favorite job came as a teenager when he served as batboy for the Baltimore Orioles.Neil is Chairperson of the Business Education Committee.

DENISE ALLEN – Treasurer

Denise Allen is a realtor at Keller Williams Realty in Delaware as part of Team Allen. She serves both buyers and sellers, including first time home buyers, move-up buyers, new construction, short sales, bank-owned and relocation clients.Denise is Co-Chairperson of the Networking Committee.


Amy Eschenbrenner is proprietor of the Blue Hen Bed and Breakfast (circa 1692) in Newark, Delaware. She earned her bachelor degree in Theatre from the University of Delaware and studied for one semester in London, England. Amy, with her husband Don, now owns, operates and markets her own pet-friendly B&B more effectively due to her previous experiences. She understands the importance of branding her business within our Delaware community and has developed an amazing referral base through her strong networking efforts and community service.

Paul went to high school at St. Andrew’s School in Middletown Delaware and then College at University of Delaware.
He has worked at Chase Manhattan Bank (USA) N.A., Wilmington, DE from 1982 to 1988 as Customer Service Supervisor,
Enterprise Publishing, Wilmington, DE from 1988 to 1990 as Customer Service/ Phone Sales Manager,
Prudential Insurance from 1990 to 1992 as Insurance Agent,
Quality Inn & Suites, New Castle, DE from 1992 to 1995 as Front Desk Supervisor,
Holiday Inn Express, Yemassee, S.C, 1995 to 1998 as General Manager,
Quality Inn & Suites, New Castle, DE 1998 to 2006 as General Manager and Sales
Clarion Hotel – The Belle 2006 to 2017 as General Manager. He is currently the director of operations of the Hospitality School.
Paul is married, with one child, two stepchildren and four grandchildren.
Hobbies and interests include gardening, disc golf, music. Co-Chairperson of the Networking Committee


Cathy Turner is a Vice President Retail Office Manager for WSFS Bank at the Midway Banking Office. Her focus is working with businesses and assisting them with their financial and lending needs. She has a passion for helping businesses grow and be successful and takes a hands on approach with her clients. Cathy has had the pleasure of serving the Delaware Community for over 8 years with the bank. Cathy is a graduate of the University of Delaware and currently resides in Newark with her husband Wayne and daughter Lilly.Cathy is the Co-chair of the Membership Committee.


Megan Varley is the owner/operator of New Life Floors and Epoxy By Design. She was born, raised and still resides in North Wilmington. Megan started New Life Floors in 2012 when she needed her own floors refinished/refreshed, but was unable to find a decent, local sandless hardwood floor refinisher. Cooking, reading and hanging out with her grandson, Cole, are some of Megan’s favorite things to do. Megan is Chairperson of the Events Committee..

Michael Kelly

Michael is the owner of Enviro-Master of Delaware. He lives in Dover with his wife of 34 years. He graduated from Holy Cross High School and and the University of Delaware. Michael is passionate about causes that support Animal Welfare, Children, the Environment, Health and Disaster and Humanitarian Relief.

Jane Clark

Jane Clark is a multi-discipline graphic designer and front-end web developer with a specialty in strategic problem solving, branding and marketing. Freelancing since 2002, she works from her home-based studio in Newark, DE where it’s a pleasure to design for companies both large and small. Jane’s diverse portfolio and awards set her apart as one of the top designers in the greater Delaware Valley. She has over 14 years of web and graphic design experience and a degree in visual communications.
She is also an adjunct-professor at Cecil College where she teaches Web Design.
Passions: horror films, cooking, gaming, yoga, caffeine, bulldogs, DIY home projects, dubstep, mentoring and collaborating with other women, students, and design professionals. Jane is Chairperson of the Marketing Committee.

Casey Fitzgerald

Casey Fitzgerald thrives in the fast paced world of technology. A Salisbury University graduate, Casey received her degree in Medical Technology and quickly discovered her love for helping people make the best technology decisions for their environment. As Vice President of Sales for DelmarvaVoip and SecureNetMD, Casey spends most of her time working with clients on their technology plans and helping grow the Sales Department. Having grown up in lower Delaware, Casey enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and currently resides in Lewes with her husband and two Cairn Terriers, Knox and Luna.
